If you’re a Lazada seller handling non-bulky items, you’ll now notice your assigned Shipping Provider appears as a Drop-Off provider on your Airway Bill (AWB). This means you’ll need to hand over all your small parcels at the nearest Drop-Off Point (DOP) instead of waiting for pick-up.

This guide explains what qualifies as a small parcel, how Drop-Off works, where you can send your parcels, and what to do if issues arise at the drop-off point.

What Counts as a Small Parcel in Lazada?

In Lazada’s logistics system, parcels are categorised into bulky and non-bulky (small) to streamline delivery operations. Knowing which category your product falls into is crucial because it determines how you should hand over your parcels.

A Default/Non-Bulky Parcel (Small Parcel) is defined as:

  • 81 cm or less on any single side, OR

  • 30 kg or below in weight

This means that most everyday e-commerce items like fashion, beauty products, small electronics, and accessories fall under the small parcel category.

Important Reminder: Only non-bulky parcels should be dropped off with your assigned shipping provider. If your parcel is larger or heavier than the limits above, it will be considered bulky and must be processed differently. Bulky parcels handed over at Drop-Off Points may be rejected, causing delays in order fulfillment.

How Does Lazada Drop-Off Service Work?

The Drop-Off process is straightforward once you know what to look for on your Airway Bill (AWB). When your assigned non-bulky shipping provider appears on the AWB, it means Lazada expects you to hand over the parcel at a Drop-Off Point instead of waiting for pickup.

Here’s what you need to do step by step:

  1. Arrange Shipment / Mark as Ready to Ship (RTS)

    • In the Lazada Seller Center, click Arrange Shipment or Ready to Ship.

    • This step updates the system so your order is queued for shipping and linked to the correct provider.

  2. Print Your AWB

    • After marking the order as RTS, download and print the AWB.

    • Check the label carefully, the logo of your assigned Drop-Off provider will appear clearly on the AWB.

  3. Hand Over at the Drop-Off Point (DOP)

    • Bring your parcel to the nearest Drop-Off Point for the assigned provider.

    • The staff will scan your parcel, this scan is critical because it serves as proof of handover and makes your parcel traceable in the system.

    • You’ll receive a confirmation email shortly after, which confirms the Drop-Off was successful.

Always double-check the logo on your AWB. Even if another delivery provider appears under the “Delivery” section, you should only drop off your parcel with the provider shown under “Drop-Off.” Using the wrong DOP may delay your shipment.

Where Can Lazada Sellers Drop Off Parcels?

Lazada sellers must hand over their small parcels at the correct Drop-Off Point (DOP), depending on which shipping provider is shown on the Airway Bill (AWB). Using the right DOP ensures your parcels are scanned properly and delivered on time.

For LEX Sellers

If your assigned provider is LEX (Lazada Express):

  • You can drop off parcels at any official LEX Drop-Off Point (DOP).

  • To find the nearest location:

    • Go to Lazada Seller CenterMy Account > Profile > Shipping Provider > Click “View Locations

    • Or use this direct map: LEX DOP Locator

Sellers also have the option to drop off parcels at LEX last-mile hubs, which may be more convenient if you’re located near one.

For Non-LEX Sellers

If your parcels are assigned to another logistics partner, you’ll need to use that provider’s own Drop-Off Points. Each has a locator tool to help you find the nearest branch:

Troubleshooting Drop-Off Issues

Even with a smooth Drop-Off system in place, sellers may sometimes run into problems at the Drop-Off Point (DOP). Knowing how to handle these situations will save time and prevent shipping delays. Here are the most common scenarios and what you should do:

System or Hardware Down

If the scanner or system at the DOP is not working:

  • Report the issue to PSC (Partner Support Center) immediately.

  • Do not leave your parcels unscanned, as they won’t be traceable in the system.

Parcels Can’t Be Scanned

If the staff cannot scan your parcels, check the following:

  • Did you Arrange Shipment / click Ready to Ship (RTS) in the Seller Center?

  • Is the correct shipping provider assigned to the order?

  • Did you accidentally pack and label the same order more than once?

  • For LEX parcels, make sure you’re at a LEX Drop-Off Point, not another provider’s branch.

If all checks are correct but the issue remains, reach out to PSC for assistance.

Busy Drop-Off Point

If the counter is crowded or there’s a queue:

  • Be patient, but never leave without your parcels being scanned.

  • The scan is proof of delivery, it updates Lazada’s system and makes your parcel traceable.

  • You will receive a confirmation email within minutes after successful scanning.

DOP Is Full

Sometimes, a Drop-Off Point may stop accepting parcels due to space limitations.

  • If this happens, proceed to the next nearest DOP branch.

  • Use the provider’s locator map to check alternatives nearby.

DOP Charges You Fees

Sellers should never be charged at a Drop-Off Point. Shipping fees are already included in your Seller Center account.

  • If a DOP requests payment, refuse the charge.

  • Report the incident immediately to PSC so Lazada can take action against the branch.

Streamlining Order Fulfillment Across Platforms

Lazada’s Drop-Off Service offers sellers a flexible way to handle small parcels, but it still comes with routine tasks like arranging shipments, printing AWBs, and keeping track of drop-off points. For sellers managing dozens or even hundreds of orders daily, small errors in these steps can quickly lead to delays or disputes.

With BigSeller, these daily processes become more manageable. Features like batch AWB printing, automatic order syncing, and barcode-supported fulfillment reduce repetitive work and ensure smoother handovers at Drop-Off Points.
